In Which I Am Most Deficient

Hubby: Wow. Mom made a great dinner! And, she drives you guys to stuff. And she supervises homework. And she's a great teacher, and a writer! Is there anything she can't do?!
Daughter: Change lightbulbs.
Hubby: Wha-? You know, you have a point. Why doesn't she change lightbulbs?
Daughter: Not tall enough.

  1. LOL! Hey, that's a good reason, though!

  2. I'm definitely short, but my real reason is that I'm too lazy to go find the lightbulb and the step stool. Plus, I do all the rest of that stuff you listed!

  3. Ink, GEW, I think we all have better things to do than change lightbulbs! But what cracks me up is that Daughter never skips a beat. It's like she has a list (in this case, things her mother cannot do) and just reads from it when called upon to do so!
