The Eyelash Fairy is Fickle

Daughter: Look! An eyelash! I'm going to make a wish. Although... I can tell you, eyelash wishes don't work. I wished for something two years ago and it never happened.
Me: What did you wish for?
Daughter: A million ladybugs. But today, I'm wishing for a pegasus!

    As I have previously observed, your kids seems like eternal optimists, ever full of hope, regardless of life's little disappointments.
