As in, my first story, now out on (Australian) newstands in Explore magazine. It's a two page spread, and has a really cute/cool illustration, as an added bonus. No article I've ever published looks this
jazzy. I think we need to rethink the design of academic journals!
Congratulations! How exciting! I wish I could see it . . .
ReplyDeleteThanks, GEW. It's purdy! And I look forward to reading about your YA writing when the diss is done!
ReplyDeleteCan you scan it in for us? Or is there a picture of it on the magazine's site? Too cool!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!
My contact in Australia says she has been researching online to find the magazine and get a copy for me and isn't finding anything. Now that your story is out, she is going to check a few newsstands and ask some of her colleagues who have kids where she should look.
ReplyDeleteIf she can find a copy, she'll bring me one in June!

Hey Ink and Allison! Yeah, it is hard to find, but it's one of Pearson's for schools, so their Explore site is: http://www.pearsonplaces.com.au/places/magazines_place/explore.aspx . The story isn't posted online, and they have copyright. But I'm sure I can photograph me holding it!!
